Happy Meals from Union Square Farmers Market (6/11)

Inspired by your blogs, I popped to the Farmers Market at Union Square for a few items--"mostly plants," as per Michael's Pollan's sage advice. 

Beautiful radishes for $ 1 each...

1-dollar lettuce! I got four different kinds.

My latest interest: sprouts. I got some Mung  bean and microgreens for $4.

Moving on to buy milk from Ronnybrook Farm  ($2.25).

My favorite people at the market: the workers of Cato Corner Farm, who make some of the most delicious cheese on the planet. Worth every penny and every pound I gain!

Back home: some microgreens over hummus with homemade crackers to munch on while I make lunch...
