Blog 19: In Defense of Food

Photo for the cover of In Defense of Food

Respond to Michael Pollan's advice on how to eat healthier from his book In Defense of Food. This will be Blog 19. In your answer, consider the following questions and expand on your responses by giving details and examples:
  • What items in Pollan's advice make sense to you?
  • Which could you implement right away?
  • Which seem hard to do or farfetched?
  • Which you wish you could do, but your present lifestyle does not make possible?
If you think that it is hard to find the "good food" or that it may be too expensive, check out Greenmarket Farmers Markets. It has tons of information on places to buy (and not everything is super expensive. Example: a bag of apples for $1), community gardens, jobs, etc.

If you are interested in helping small farmers, check Fair Trade USA to see how your purchase can make a difference.
