PART I: CATW Practice

Get into the same groups as you did on Monday. I will give you the other prompt (NOT the one you responded to) to read. Now, you will have ten minutes to

• read group answers to the Google reading  HERE.
• read group answers to the Illegal Immigrants reading HERE.

As a group, you will have ten minutes to choose ONE summary of the ones you have read that you think is the best. Be prepared to explain why.

Lastly, you will have five minutes to decide as a group what are the three best reasons with examples of all the ones you have read. Be prepared to explain why. If none of the reasons /examples work for you, come up with a few of your own.

PART II: Blog 18: Too Much Stuff 

For Blog 18: Too Much Stuff, please summarize "2-dollar Camisole" and then create an OUTLINE with a thesis and three reasons, each with an example. Try to use ideas from The Story of Stuff in your response. The script for the animation is on pages 23-38 of your packet. 

Last but not least: THE CATW Retest is Thursday, December 2 at 3:25. Please be here at 3:00 to help set up the class.

Things you need to bring to the CATW

1. a photo ID
2. a pencil
3. a pen
4. a good dictionary

NO electronic devices should be turned on during the test. If you are worried that you'll get in trouble because of your phone, just give it to me for the duration of the test.
